A Day In Daytona Beach

From impeccable white-sand beaches to adrenaline pumping activities, there’s something to be found for everyone in Daytona Beach, Florida.

A year-round sunny destination, Daytona is home to beautiful landscapes as well as rich culture and electrifying motor races!

Where to Stay:

When planning a beach vacation, the important question always comes to mind: how close can we stay to the beach?

Luckily, Daytona has many budget-friendly beach hotels that still promise incredible views.

Check out The Shores Resort & Spa for luxurious rooms at comfortable value.

Enjoy cabana service, multiple infinity pools, and a tiki bar!

You can wind down at the spa while overlooking the ocean.

Places to Eat:

Grab a coffee at Sweet Marlays and a flavorful breakfast at the Cracked Egg Diner before heading out for your beach day!

The diner is a local favorite, making it a crowded location worth waiting for.

For finer dining, Sessions provides world class dining, cocktails, and live entertainment set within contemporary décor.

The seafood is renowned for its freshness and flavor, caught locally in Florida.

Have a sweet tooth?

The Angell & Phelps chocolate making tour is calling your name!

The tour is free and will load you up on fresh fudge and chocolate covered EVERYTHING.

Things to Do:

The most popular attraction at Daytona Beach is the infamous Boardwalk!
This walkway covers 23 miles of beach, while leading you to many shops and restaurants in town.

There are many wildlife preserves in Daytona.

If dolphins and manatee’s sound like good companions, head over to Wilbur Rose Paddling Trail to kayak or paddle boat with marine life.

For a more romantic night, watch the sunset from the top of Ponce Inlet, the tallest lighthouse in Florida.

The view is definitely worth the tiring 203-stair climb.

And of course, the Daytona International Speedway!

Racing began in 1953 in the stadium now known as the World Center for Racing.

Hundreds of thousands of fans gather yearly to watch cars loop around a 2.5 mile track in the Daytona 500.

The stadium is a must-see!
